Tennessee Firearm Death Data

This information is sourced from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention WISQARS database. WISQARSTM (Web-based Injury Statistics Query and Reporting System, pronounced “whiskers”) Fatal is an interactive database system that provides injury-related mortality data.  The data below is specifically related to firearm deaths – all firearm deaths, firearm homicide deaths, and firearm suicide deaths.  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention receives information from each state’s health department, then uploads it into the WISQARS database.
